     Rachel Pripstein was born circa 1892 at Russia. She was born on 3 November 1895; per husband's naturalization documents. She was the daughter of Mordche Chayam Pripstein and Anna Pripstein. She married Samuel Perlman, son of Mordechai Yishayahu Perlman and Fegeita Fagel, on 20 May 1920 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. She died in December 1973 at Highland Park, Illinois, at age 78; per SSDI.
     Rachel Pripstein was also known as Ray Pripstein. She immigrated in 1903 per 1910 Census. She on 6 March 1904 M PRIPSTEIN purchased passage from Rosenbaum Bank, Philadelphia for Broche PRIPSTEIN, Itzig Mejer PRIPSTEIN, Rochel Lea PRIPSTEIN, Rasche PRIPSTEIN and Infant PRIPSTEIN. She immigrated on 22 May 1904 to Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, as Rachel Lea PRIPSTEIN, aboard Westernland, from Liverpool; last residence Baranowiczi, en route to Philadelphia to father Mordche Chayern. She appeared on the census of 21 April 1910 at 313 7th Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, occupation cigar maker, cigar factory. She appeared on the census of 7 January 1920 at 1339 N. Randolph Street, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, age 24; boarder in home of Michael and Mary OBERKERST; occupation cigar maker; same address as Sarah Pripstein SNYDERMAN and Nathan SNYDERMAN. She lived in 1923 at 419 1/2 E. 7th Street, Wilmington, Delaware, as Ray PERLMAN, in Wilmington City Directory. She appeared on the census of 5 April 1940 at 2769 N. Eleventh Street, Milwaukee, Wisconsin, as Rae PERLMAN.
