     Moise Bloch married Madeleine Goldschmidt, daughter of Anchel Shmuel Goldschmidt. He was born on 29 August 1790 at Uttenheim, Nieder-Elsass, Elsass-Lothringen, Germany; per Dictionnaire biographique des rabbins # 293. He was the son of David Bloch and Madel Zandig. He died on 27 February 1865 at Strasbourg, France, at age 74.
