     Morris Harkavy was born on 2 January 1893 at Mir, Novogrudok, Minsk; place per immigration manifest; date per WWI and WWII Selective Service registration. He was the son of Shaul Gedaliah Harkavy and Golda Mirsky. He married Esther Brown, daughter of Elias Brown and Anna Zworowski, on 17 August 1924 at 79th Street, Bensonhurst, Brooklyn, New York; as Morris HARKAVY, 30, engineer, 599 Sackman, Brooklyn; father Shoal, mother Golda MUSAG; and Esther BROWN, 20, 1915 74th Street, Brooklyn; father Elias, mother Anna ZWOROWSKI; officiated by Rabbi Mendel REIZIK; witnesses Samuel B. TWERSKY and Louis RAGON; Brooklyn marriage certificate 11795. He died on 13 November 1969 at age 76; buried in Montefiore Cemetery, Springfield Gardens, New York.
