     Samuel Perlman was born on 15 February 1883 at Husi, Falciu, Moldavia; per 1928, 1936 Declarations of Intention; 1938 Petition for Naturalization. He was the son of Mordechai Yishayahu Perlman and Fegeita Fagel. He married Rachel Pripstein, daughter of Mordche Chayam Pripstein and Anna Pripstein, on 20 May 1920 at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died in 1946 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
     He immigrated on 18 November 1885 to Ellis Island, New York, as Samuel PERLMANN; age 23; occupation tailor; last residence La Kusi; en route to brother Isidor PERLMANN, 13 Orchard Street, New York. He on 4 November 1905 at Hamburg, Hamburg, Germany, departed for U.S. as Samuel PERLMANN, aboard Batavia. He on 12 September 1918 at 632 W. 4th, Wilmington, Delaware, registered for Selective Service; closest kin brother Isadore PERLMAN.
