     Josel Klarberg was born on 19 March 1880 at Bursztyn, Rohatyn, Galicia; as Josel KLARBERG; father Marcus EFRONILES of Rohatyn; mother Peril KLARBERG of Bursztyn, daughter of Mendel and Rifka KLARBERG of Bursztyn. He was the son of Markus Leib Efroniles and Peril Klarberg. He married Bessie Feder on 21 August 1910 at New York, New York. He died on 27 September 1932 at Brooklyn, New York, at age 52; as Joseph KLARBERG, aged 52; buried Mount Judah Cemetery, Ridgewood, NY.
     He immigrated on 22 December 1903 to Ellis Island, New York, as Josel KLARBERG, 24; aboard Main from Bremen; joiner; last residence Bursztyn; en route to brother Benzin KLARBERG, 109 Essex Street, NY. He on 20 April 1905 at 117 Essex Street, New York, New York, filed Declaration of Intention as Joseph KLARBERG, at Supreme Court, New York County. He on 4 August 1909 at 38 Clinton, New York, New York, filed Petition for Naturalization as Joseph KLARBERG; Federal Court, Southern District of New York; born 25 Mar 1881 at Bursztyn; witnesses Gottel STUGENSKY, real estate, 174 Ludlow and Jacob JAGER, stand keeper, 81 Orchard Street. He was naturalized on 23 February 1910; swore Oath of Allegiance; certificate 131344.
