He died on 2 June 1985 at age 89; buried in Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Staten Island, as Adolf SCHAPIRO, 27 Apr 1896-2 Jun 1985; First Rymalower Young Men's Benevolent Association; headstone Avraham b Yosef HaLevi; devoted husband, father-grandfather, great-grandfather/brother of Benjamin, Morris and Sam SHAPIRO.
     Isak Szapiro was also known as Adolph Shapiro.
