     Abram Kur was born on 28 May 1896 at Nur, Ostrow, Lomza. He was born in 1897 at Nur, Ostrow, Lomza. He was the son of Moszko Mendel Kur. He married Selde Wenner, daughter of Szepsel Wener and Malka Ryba, on 1 June 1917 at Kansas City, Missouri. He died on 27 October 1963 at Dallas, Texas.
     He immigrated on 12 February 1913 to Ellis Island, New York, as Abram KUR, 16; shoemaker; aboard Zeeland from Antwerp; last residence Dernier; closest kin father Moische KUR, Dernier, Lomza; en route to brother Benjamin COHEN, 910 Union Avenue, Kansas City, Missouri. On 4 January 1919 while living at 223 E. 9th Street, Chattanooga, Tennessee, Abram Kur filed Declaration of Intention as Abe COHEN, with Eastern District of Tennessee. On 7 October 1924 while living at 2837 Olive Street, Kansas City, Missouri, Abram Kur filed Petition for Naturalization as Abe COHEN, with Western District of Missouri; shoemaker, born 28 May 1896 at Nur; witnesses H. ROSEN, 608 Main Street, clothing merchant; and L. BLOOM, 552 Main Street, show merchant. He on 1 February 1926 withdrew Petition for Naturalization.
