     Shirley Charosh was born on 12 April 1904 at Kobrin, Kobrin, Grodno; per 1938 Petition for Naturalization. She was the daughter of Hyman Charosz and Cyrla Fineberg. She died on 11 February 1995 at age 90.
     She immigrated on 9 April 1921 to Ellis Island, New York, as Ceitla CHAROSZ, 15; aboard Aquitania from Southampton; last residence Kobrin; en route to father Hyman CHAROSZ, 207 Clynstown, Brooklyn; born Kobrin. On 7 October 1938 while living at 464 Hinsdale Street, Brooklyn, New York, Shirley Charosh filed Petition for Naturalization with EDNY as Shirley KUSHER; born 12 Apr 1904 in Kobryn; immigrated as Ceitla CHAROSZ; witnesses Esther TEITELBAUM, housewife, 452 Hinsdale Street; and Margaret MARGOLES, housewife, 492 Williams Avenue, Brooklyn. She was naturalized on 28 February 1939; swore Oath of Allegiance; certificate 4307563. She appeared on the census of 3 April 1940 at 464 Hinsdale, Brooklyn, New York, as Shirley KUSHER, 35.
