Perel Ulrich

     Perel Ulrich was born on 13 May 1897 at Brazin, Russia. She was the daughter of Max Ulrich and Hannah unknown. She married Hersch Leftan, son of Ick Fajwel Lefton and Taube Bursztejn, on 16 February 1919. She died in June 1984 at age 87; as Pauline LEFTON.
     Perel Ulrich was also known as Pauline Lefton. She immigrated on 25 March 1906 to Ellis Island, New York, as Perl ULRICH, born Berezin, age 9, with mother Chana ULRICH and siblings Fischel, Sure and Peshe. She appeared on the census of 19 January 1920 at 27 W. 112th Street, New York, New York, as Pauline LEFTON, 22; living with parents Max ULRICH and Hannah ULRICH. She appeared on the census of 1 June 1925 at 127 W. 112th Street, New York, New York, as Pauline LEFTON, 25; housewife. She appeared on the census of 12 April 1930 at 2003 Walton Avenue, Bronx, New York. On 25 May 1937 while living at 2003 Walton Avenue, Bronx, New York, Perel Ulrich filed Petition for Naturalization as Pauline LEFTON; witnesses Harry ULRICH, 2003 Walton Avenue; Sylvia Rems MOSCOWITZ, 181 1/2 Cherry Street. She appeared on the census of 3 April 1940 at 2003 Walton Avenue, Bronx, New York, as Pauline LEFTON.
