     Benjamin Herman was born on 5 July 1897. He was the son of Morris Herman and Yetta Kobritz. He married Catherine Rabinowitz, daughter of Oscar Rabinowitz and Rose Smith, on 24 June 1923 at Rabbi S. Ferber, Cincinnati, Ohio. He died on 3 July 1951 at Cincinnati, Ohio, at age 53.
