David Harkavy

He was the son of Rabbi Yehudah Leib Garkavy and Roza Mindel Sapir. He married Beatrice Leshinsky, daughter of Jankiel Drogiczanski and Gitla Levin, on 2 May 1923 at 171 E. Broadway, New York, New York; as David HARKAVY, 21, printer, 1485 Vyse Avenue; son of Leon [HARKAVY] and Minnie SAPSIR; and Beatrice LESHINSKY, 19, 1485 Vyse Avenue; daughter of Jack [LESHINSKY] and Gertel LEVINE; officiated by Rabbi Julius HARKAVY; witnesses Abraham SINKIN and Israel HARKAVY; NY marriage certificate 17995. He died on 11 May 1968 at Milwaukee, Wisconsin, at age 67.
