He appeared on the census of 1 June 1905 at 99 Rivington Street, New York, New York, as Benny POLLACK, age 36; shoemaker; in U.S. 2 years; living with Joseph POLLACK, age 36, junk peddler, in U.S. 6 months, and Myer POLLACK, age 20, hod carrier, in U.S. 6 months. As of 1 June 1905, Bim Pollack was also known as Benny Pollack.
