Abraham M. Lepowsky

     Abraham M. Lepowsky was also known as Alec Lepowsky. He immigrated in November 1887 per 1900 Petition for Naturalization. He was naturalized on 7 August 1900 at 187 Christopher Street, Brooklyn, New York; as Abraham M. LEPOWSKY, waist maker; witness Hyman ARKAWY, coal dealer, 447 Stone Avenue, Brooklyn; in US District Court NY Eastern District; vol. 22 no. 442. He appeared on the census of 1 June 1915 at 1181 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, New York, as Abraham M. LEPOWSKY, 40; manufacturer of dresses. He on 12 September 1918 at 1010 Eastern Parkway, Brooklyn, New York, registered for Selective Service as Abraham Marcus LEPOWSKY, born 30 May 1876; subcontractor of dresses; nearest relative wife Annie.
