Minnie Pikholz

     Minnie Pikholz was born on 5 February 1903. She was the daughter of Solomon Pikholz and Sophie Pikholz. She married Morris Shapiro, son of Josef Szapiro and Rosa Hene Feigenbaum, on 8 December 1923 at New York, New York; Morris SHAPIRO, 29; son of Joseph [SHAPIRO] and Rose FIGENBAUM; born Grzymalow, Austria; and Minnie PICKHOLTZ, 20; daughter of Solomon [PICKHOLTZ] and Sophie PICKHOLTZ; born Roszooa, Austria. She died on 18 November 1996 at age 93; buried Baron Hirsch Cemetery, Staten Island; Mindel daughter of Shloma Zalman; First Rymalower Young Men's Benevolent Association plot.
     She immigrated on 22 February 1921 to Ellis Island, New York, as Mina PIKHOLTZ, 17; last residence Preszoma, uncle Schul PIKHOLTZ in Preszoma, Galicia; en route to mother's "sister" Louis FEUER, 66 Prince Street, NYC; traveling with aunt Chaja FIGUR.
