Liba Lubowin

     Liba Lubowin was born circa 1877. She was the daughter of Icko Lubowin and Gita Leja Urbinski. She married Jankel Juszko Kuszer, son of Nosek Kuszer and Gitla-Chaja Paryzer, in 1900 at Punsk, Suwalki, Suwalki; as Jankiel-Joszka KUSZER, 25, son of Nosek KUSZER and Gitla-Chaja Abramowna; and Liba LUBOWIN, 22, daughter of Icko LUBOWIN and Gita URBINSKI. She died on 30 July 1937 at 1920 Douglass Street, Brooklyn, New York; as Liba KUSCHER, 62; father Isaac LEBOVIN, mother Leah RUBINSKY; buried Montefiore Cemetery.
     She immigrated on 24 January 1921 to Ellis Island, New York, as Liba KUSHER, 44; aboard Carmania from Liverpool; last residence Suwalki; closest kin cousin Taube ROTSCHIEL, Filipowa, Suwalki; en route to husband Jacob KUSHNER, 1770 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn. She appeared on the census of 1 June 1925 at 1516 Pitkin Avenue, Brooklyn, New York, as Libby KEESHIN, 49.
