Samuel Gelfand

     Samuel Gelfand was born circa 1886 at Poland. He was the son of Falk Gelfand and Basia Zalkin. He married Rebecca Vera Bereslansky, daughter of Venianim Bereslavsky and Rose Garkavy, on 15 September 1929 at 49 Willett Street, New York, New York; as Samuel GELFAND, 45, pharmacist, 132 W. 121st Street; father Falk, mother Basia ZALKIN; and Rebecca Vera BERESLANSKY, 37, 3064 E. 7th Street, Brooklyn; father Benjamin BERESLANSKY, mother Rose HARKARY [sic]; officiated by Rabbi Isaac STECHENBERG; witnesses Solomon FRANCIS and Joseph HABER; NY marriage certificate 22214.
