On 22 September 1914 while living at 171 Monroe Street, New York, New York, Szmul Grzybowicz filed Declaration of Intention 91827 with NY County Supreme Court, as Sam GOLDMAN, operator; born Lomza 17 Jul 1890; arrived aboard St. Paul 10 Jun 1906. On 24 May 1919 while living at 36 Attorney Street, New York, New York, Szmul Grzybowicz as Sam GOLDMAN; operator; filed Petition for Naturalization 29277 with SDNY; wife Beckie born 4 Jul 1890; son Hyman born 17 Feb 1911, son Nathan born 19 Oct 1918; witnesses Max GERSHBOWITZ, presser, 171 Monroe Street; and Abraham REIS, cutter, 46 Pitt Street. He was naturalized on 26 August 1919; swore Oath of Allegiance; certificate 1262684.
