She died on 20 April 1938 at 502 Chestnut Street, Newport, Kentucky; as Bertha LEFTON; age about 58; maiden name unknown.
     Her married name was Leftin. She immigrated in 1903 per 1920 Census. She immigrated in 1905 per 1910 & 1930 Censuses. As of 13 February 1905, Bertha Slomski was also known as Breine Schlomsky. She immigrated on 13 February 1905 to Ellis Island, New York, as Breine SCHLOMSKY, age 21, aboard S.S.New York, from Southampton; last residence London; occupation cigarette maker; en route to brother Joe SLONSKY, 93 Suffolk Street, New York. She appeared on the census of 23 April 1910 at 432 Chestnut Street, Newport, Kentucky, as Becie RIFTIN. She was naturalized in 1914; per 1920 Census. She appeared on the census of 6 January 1920 at 502 Chestnut Street, Newport, Kentucky, occupation: retail merchant, groceries. She appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 at 636 Oak Street, Newport, Kentucky.
