     Sora Gitla Slomski was born circa 1885 at Wysokie Mazowieckie, Mazowieckie, Lomza; aged 18 at marriage in 1903. She was the daughter of Nachman Lejbko Slomski and Chana Cyrla Chalapowicz. She married Srul-Lejba Kossower, son of Fajbus Kosower and Ruchla Chanowicz, in 1903 at Andrzejewo, Ostrow, Lomza; as Srul-Lejba KOSSOWER, 19, son of Fajbus KOSSOWER and Ruchla CHANOWICZ; and Sora-Gitla SLOMSKI, 18, daughter of Nachman-Lejbko SLOMSKI and Chana Cyrla CHALAPOWICZ. She died on 27 October 1957; per FTJP - Marilyn Cossever.
     She immigrated on 15 December 1927 to Halifax, Nova Scotia, as Gitla Sura KOSSOWER, 42; widow; aboard Estonia from Danzig; closest kin sister-in-law Leja KOSSOWER, Ostro-Komorowo; en route to son Oszer KOSSOWER, 3776 Colonial Avenue, Montreal. She immigrated on 20 March 1929 to Rouses Point, New York, as Sura Gitel GROSSMAN, alias KOSSEVER; 50; from Montreal to husband Louis, 13 Pitt Street, NYC; with children Morris, Basha, Shendel and Nachman. She appeared on the census of 15 April 1930 at 13 Pitt Street, New York, New York, as Sara GROSSMAN, 41. She appeared on the census of 8 April 1940 at 3827 Third Avenue, Bronx, New York, as Sarah GROSSMAN, 50.
