     Rose Enteles Proshansky was born on 14 October 1889 at Zhvanets, Kamenets Podolskiy, Podolia; place per immigration manifest. She was the daughter of Chone Enteles and Reise Enteles. She married Samuel Proshansky, son of Yudel Leibov Proschansky and Malke-Liebbe Evelova Hurwitz Proschansky, on 24 June 1911 at New York, New York; indexed as Samuel PRUSHONSKY, 28; son of Jules [?] and Mialy HORWITZ; and Rosi ENTELES, 21; daughter of Chuny ENTELES and Rosi SCHWARTZ. She died in February 1986 at Bronx, New York, at age 96.

She immigrated on 28 September 1898 to Ellis Island, New York, as Rachel ENTELES, age 9, aboard Friesland from Antwerp; en route to father Chone ENTELES, 173 Ludlow Street, New York; last residence Zwanic [Zhvanets, Ukraine]; with mother Reise and siblings. As of 28 September 1898, Rose Enteles Proshansky was also known as Rachel Enteles. She appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at 179 Orchard Street, New York, New York, as Rosie ANTILLIS; born Apr 1887. She appeared on the census of 18 April 1910 at 112 E. 8th Street, New York, New York, as Rosie ENTELAS, age 20; braider millinery shop. She appeared on the census of 5 January 1920 at 602 Jackson Avenue, Bronx, New York, indexed as PROSKANEKY. She appeared on the census of 1930 at 1462 Bryant, Bronx, New York, as Proshinsky. She appeared on the census of 9 April 1940 at 1536 Mimford Place, Bronx, New York, as Rose PROSHANSKY, age 52.
