Sidney Poll was born on 23 April 1896 at Baranovichi, Novogrudok, Minsk; per 1942 Selective Service registration. He was the son of Schlome Polonski and Sarah Buniewicki. He married Rose Poll, daughter of Fejwel Buniewicki and Fruma Ethel Garkavy Buniewicka, on 29 January 1929 at Montreal, Quebec, Canada; Ahavas Sholom congregation. He died on 25 July 1980 at Fairfield, Connecticut, at age 84; per Connecticut death records.
