Rose Rudnitzky

     Rose Rudnitzky married Michel Gilmowsky, son of Leib Gilmowski and Sarah Leah Hirshovitz. She was born on 23 July 1890. She died on 5 February 1963 at Valdosta, Georgia, at age 72.
     She immigrated on 8 August 1904 to Ellis Island, New York, as Reichel RUDNICKI, 16, seamstress; aboard Noordam from Amsterdam; last residence Lachowicz; en route to brother Yos RAIELITZKI, c/o M. KATZ, 40 Canal Street; detained as Richel RUDNITZKI and released to brother Yankel at 157 Forsyth Street; traveling with Sore GILMAR [Sarah GILMORE] family. She appeared on the census of 16 April 1910 at Chauncey Militia District, Dodge County, Georgia, as Rossie GILMORE, age 24. She appeared on the census of 5 January 1920 at 420 Hull Street, Savannah, Georgia, as Rosie GILMORE, age 31. She appeared on the census of 3 April 1930 at 594 Ward Street, Douglas, Georgia, as Rosie GILMORE, age 42. She lived in 1935 at Waycross, Georgia. She appeared on the census of 2 April 1940 at 9 Third Avenue, N.E., Cairo, Georgia, as Rose GILMORE, age 51.
