Leib Gilmowski married Sarah Leah Hirshovitz, daughter of Abram Girshovich and Estra Girshovich. He was born circa 1863 at Gorodishche, Novogrudok, Minsk. He was the son of Avraham Yitzhak Gilmowski. He died on 5 March 1908 at Park View Sanitorium, Savannah, Georgia.
He immigrated on 14 September 1898 to Ellis Island, New York, as Leib GILMORSKI, aboard Spaarndam from Rotterdam; occupation joiner; last residence Horoditschits; en route to brother-in-law I. NATHAN, 224 W. Bryan St., Savannah, Georgia; traveling with Pesse NACHIMOWICZ and Josef NACHIMOWICZ. As of 5 March 1908, Leib Gilmowski was also known as Aryeh Leib Gilmowski name in Hebrew on headstone of Leon GILMORE.
