     Julius Harkavy married Anna Steinbauch, daughter of Boruch Steinbauch and Raca Glaser. He was born in 1870. He was the son of Rabbi Yehudah Leib Garkavy and Hayah Seliver. He died on 22 June 1931 at Bronx, New York; as Julius HARKAVY; reverend; father Leon HARKAVY, mother Rebecca STEIN; wife Anna; buried in Washington Cemetery, Brooklyn.
     He immigrated on 25 August 1903 to Ellis Island, New York, as Judel HARKAWY, age 34; butcher; from Podhajitz [Pidhaytsi]; aboard Rotterdam from Rotterdam; en route to brother S. HARKAWY, 193 Broome Street/Suffolk Street, New York [probably not brother but cousin]. He appeared on the census of 22 April 1910 at 153 E. Main Street, Waterbury, Connecticut, as Julias ARCOVA, age 39; butcher in slaughterhouse. He appeared on the census of 8 January 1920 at 171 E. Broadway, New York, New York, as Julius HARKAWAY, age 49; rabbi in synagogue. He appeared on the census of 1 June 1925 at 171 E. Broadway, New York, New York, as Julius HARKAWAY, age 52; rabbi. He appeared on the census of 8 April 1930 at 171 E. Broadway, New York, New York, as Julius HARKAVY, age 60; rabbi in synagogue.
