     Ruchla Leja Lefton was born circa 1885; aged 23 at marriage in 1908. She was born in 1887 at Lomza, Lomza; per 1930 Census; from Wangrowo, Poland according to ship's manifest. She was the daughter of Benjamin Lewton and Perla Saper. She was born on 20 November 1890 at Andrzejewo, Mazowieckie, Poland; per 1935 Petition. She married Benjamin Saber, son of Aron Sebor and Estera Oldak, in 1908 at Andrzejewo, Ostrow, Lomza; as Berko SEBOR, 22, son of Aron SEBOR and Ester nee OLDAK; and Ruchla Leja LEFTON, 23, daughter of Benijamin LEFTON and Perla nee SAPER.
     Ruchla Leja Lefton was also known as Rachel Leftin Saber. She immigrated on 24 November 1920 to Ellis Island, New York, as Ruchel SEBOR, aboard S.S. Frederik VIII, last residence Wangrowo, Poland, to meet husband Berel SEBOR, 27 Hester Street, New York. She appeared on the census of 8 April 1930 at 236 Henry Street, New York, New York. On 6 July 1931 while living at 236 Henry Street, New York, New York, Ruchla Leja Lefton filed Declaration of Intention as Rachel SABER, 40; widow of Benjamin; children Benjamin, Harry, Esther and Ida. On 28 October 1935 while living at 455 Grand Street, New York, New York, Ruchla Leja Lefton filed Petition for Naturalization 252973 at SDNY as Rachel SABER; witnesses Anna NOVACK, 249 Clinton Street, unemployed metal worker; and Samuel RACHLIN, 241 Henry Street, unemployed paster on bags. She was naturalized on 3 February 1936; swore Oath of Allegiance; certificate 3952968. She appeared on the census of 17 April 1940 at 172 Henry Street, New York, New York.
