Estera Goldberg

     Estera Goldberg was born on 9 September 1881 at Radom, Radom, Radom. She was the daughter of Majer Goldberg and Cyrla Laia Kojen. She married Gabriel Potashnik, son of Gersz Lejb Potaznik and Laja Perla Wajnsbrot, on 2 June 1900 at Radom, Radom, Radom; as Gawrys POTAZNIK, 20; son of Gerszek [POTAZNIK] and Laja Perla WAJSBROT; and Estera GOLDBERG, 19; daughter of Majer [GOLDBERG] and Cyrla KOJEN.
     Estera Goldberg was also known as Esther Goldberg. She immigrated on 14 December 1926 to Ellis Island, New York, as Estera POTAZNIK, 45; housewife; aboard Berengaria from Southampton; born Raslom [Radom]; last residence Raslom; cousin B. GOLDBERG in Raslom; en route to husband Gabriel POTAZNIK, 1073 S. Boulevard, Bronx. She appeared on the census of 24 April 1930 at 1025 Avenue St. John, Bronx, New York, as Esther POTASHNIK, 48. She appeared on the census of 10 April 1940 at 1151 Stratford Avenue, Bronx, New York, as Esther POTASHNIK, 58.
