     He immigrated on 17 July 1898 to Ellis Island, New York, as Mendel JAKER, 29, furmaker; aboard Rotterdam from Rotterdam; last residence Briczany; previously resided in NY 2 years, ending 9 mos previously; en route to brother-in-law A. NEIDELMANN, 134 Suffolk Street, NYC. He appeared on the census of 5 June 1900 at 23 Clinton Street, New York, New York, as Mannie YAKER, 30, furrier; immigrated 1896, alien. He immigrated on 20 June 1904 to Montreal, Quebec, Canada, as Mendel YAKER, 36; furrier; arrived aboard Lucania; continuing via Grand Trunk Railroad; en route to wife Rochel YAKER, 26 Ludlow Street, NYC; previously in U.S. 1894-1904.
