Enny Harkawy

     Enny Harkawy was born circa 1883 at Mir, Novogrudok, Minsk. She was the daughter of Yudel Itskov-Bendetov Garkavy and Rishe Bloch. She married Philip Lidofsky, son of Haime Lidofsky and Chana Meierowitz, on 23 June 1907 at 287 Madison Street, New York, New York; Philip LIDOFSKY, 25, carpenter, 111 Henry Street; father Haime LIDOFSKY; mother Chana MEIEROWITZ; and Enny HARKAWY, 20, 287 Madison Street; father Juda Leib HARKAWY; mother Rishe BLOCK; officiated by Rabbi Israel ISAACSON; witnesses David GRODINSKY and Jacob LASHITZKY; NY marriage certificate 16528; n.b. her address was that of Mordechai (Max) HARKAVY family.
     She immigrated in 1904 per 1920 Census. She appeared on the census of 22 January 1920 at Montville, Connecticut. She appeared on the census of 8 April 1930 at 280 W. Thames Street, Norwich, Connecticut. She appeared on the census of 15 April 1940 at 280 W. Thames Street, Norwich, Connecticut.
