Rose Marie Shulat

     Rose Marie Shulat was born circa 1864 at Ioganishkeli, Ponevezh, Kovno; as Mera SHULAT, daughter of Peysakh and Tsype Dine. She was the daughter of Peysakh Chaim Shulat and Tsype Dine unknown. She was born in April 1865. She married Nathan Harris, son of Iankhel Genach Sachar, on 24 May 1883 at Pushelaty, Ponevezh, Kovno; as Girsh SHAKHOR, 23, son of Genekh; and Mera SHULAT, 23, daughter of Peisakh. She died on 19 July 1929 at Pulaski, Arkansas; as Rose Marie HARRIS, buried alongside husband in Oakland Cemetery, Little Rock.
     Rose Marie Shulat was also known as Rose Shulat per son Jack Henry HARRIS's 1978 death certificate. As of circa 1864, Rose Marie Shulat was also known as Mera Shulat. She appeared on the census of 1876 at Ioganishkeli, Ponevezh, Kovno, in Family List as Mera SHULAT, 12. She appeared on the census of 9 June 1900 at Forrest City, Arkansas, as Mary HARRIS, 35; immigrated 1890. She appeared on the census of 15 April 1910 at 706 Center Street, Big Rock Township, Pulaski, Arkansas, as Mary R. HARRIS, 40; merchant; immigrated 1890; 7 children, all living. She appeared on the census of January 1920 at 706 Center Street, Big Rock Township, Arkansas, as Rose Mary HARRIS, 46.
